In the depilation industry, different hair colours pose an issue for Laser hair removal. These factors lower the efficiency and safety rating of Laser depilation compared to Intense Pulsed Light (IPL).
IPL through its use of a flash lamp is therefore better suited to hair removal as the technology targets a wider range of hair colours. This in turn gives IPL greater efficiency and is safer to use.
One observation worth noting is that there is currently an imbalance between Laser hair removal devices and IPL devices. In the professional market there are abundant Laser units available of a high build quality but this is not so for IPL devices. Almost 70% of the professional IPL devices on the market are of poor quality.
In turn, this market imbalance can discredit IPL technology despite its numerous advantages.

“Having had the experience of IPL in a salon the performance of the E-One is definitely comparable, while the experience is far more enjoyable. I was very much surprised by how easy it was to use, and how painless. I would definitely recommend it for those looking for an easy, efficient and long lasting hair removal solution.”

“From just one treatment on my legs, very few hairs have grown back. I’m virtually smooth and it’s amazing. I wouldn’t trust any other home treatment but the E-One to give me permanent hair removal.”
