The E-One safety
Any devices that is available in Europe has to bear a "CE" marking. This european certification is a mandatory identification mark. Most of the manufacturers mark their CE themselves as the CE marking regulations allow products to be self-certified for CE marking. By affixing the CE marking to a product, the manufacturer, on his sole responsibility, declares that it meets EU safety, health and environmental requirements
At E-Swin, we have decided to choose a medical and a professional orientation for our devices. As our devices will be used on your skin, we assumed they should be considered as "medical devices". The approval process for a Medical CE includes an extra set of rules compared to a normal CE mark. Therefore, E-Swin had to comply with additional requirements in order to obtain the medical CE certification: - To adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 ( - Obtain the medical certification by a notified body (SGS, Veritas...)
All these requirements may have an impact on the retail price of the E-One; they also enable the E-One to be the first medical hair removing devices using IPL technology for home use and differentiate it from its competitors. E-Swin strives to provide a guarantee of the utmost in terms of quality.
